Thinking of your big, audacious end goal isn't always difficult. Its exciting really.

Its new and usually brings us quite a bit of satisfaction just thinking about hitting it.

But figuring out where to start is often times why many people do not in fact, start.

A few things that happen in your first week of UTS:

*You will have an intro call dedicated to figuring out what areas of your life you feel most confident with alongside where you are looking for support, and figure out together the very first steps to take in making that happen.

*We take you through a movement session dedicated to figuring out what exercise setup, program, and coaching strategies are best for you.

*Have an intro class guiding you through your very first workout, ensuring you feel comfortable with the movements, terminology, and process that we utilize.

*Schedule a nutrition call in which we walk through the easiest action steps to help you take control of what you eat.

*Introduce you to a community looking to support you in an increasingly distant life.

Day one. We talk about YOU.

YOUR experiences with improving your health or training.

YOUR past approaches to your goals, nutrition, or pain.

What YOU want out of this experience.

Then we start building: A solid foundation movement, skills to be confident in, awareness of your body and what you are capable of. Ultimately, you learn how to train for a strong body and mind, safely, in a clean environment.

You will learn how to avoid painful aches and movement roadblocks on your way to lifts and exercises that move you forward towards the goals YOU want.

Whether you are in group or personal sessions, you will always be taken care of.

Yesterday was special.

Safely, efficiently, and with lots of hard work AND relaxation, we got to support our very own, Coach Kayla Rose English, and the 70,000 people worldwide who face Cystic Fibrosis.

We have trained Kayla through the difficult workouts, watched her show up each day without complaint, and now live a new passion as a coach while still doing everything she can to raise money to hopefully find a cure one day for Cystic Fibrosis.

$1500 and counting ! All going towards Kayla’s goal of $12,000 this year.

Thank you to all who came out, to Christina Jodoin for the awesome organization and setup, Brooke Lynn B leading the yogi life charge, and Rod Jack and his son for coming out to speak about his experience with CF.

Thank you all so much for your support! I am so grateful for my gym family! Here's my fundraising link if you would still like to make a contribution. fightcf.cff.org/goto/kaylaskrusaders2020

It has been a long week. A sad, burdensome, and frustrating one at that. It makes sense when recent events begin to weigh heavy on your heart, lead to more anxiety than you have faced, or put you into conversations, debates, and arguments with those around you.

But, people of color, these feelings, this anxiety, and the CONSTANT, never ending fight for simply being seen, understood, and heard as a fellow human has been going on for more than a lifetime.

And now, more than ever, silence is not an option...and truly listening is paramount.

For us, as an organization, as a team, and as humans wanting to be better every day, it also has to be more than that. The work has to be done for more than this week. It has to extend beyond the posts and the anger. It means doing the work in our relationships, our communities, and for us, within our business.

Two years ago, I finally put to paper our values that had served this company for the seven years prior. . Nothing about fitness was mentioned for the first five. Our mission? To serve as a stimulating influence to our members, our communities, and ourselves, through CONSTANT physical AND mental evolution.

But, for white America and those of us with the privilege to do so, that “constant” evolution usually just means, “when convenient,” and it needs to change. Us included.

Back in January, we decided to rebuild our values for our team, our members, and our future. Once again, fitness was the afterthought.

The responses from our team (shared in our stories) serve as a true picture of what we believe and hope to serve as to our members and community. They give the foundation upon which we hope to grow.

The past 18 months has been a time of evolution for our business beyond what has been shown on social media. It has been one involving thorough planning, work, and hope for a setup in which we can represent these values to the fullest.

Many conversations have gone on about how we can better represent what we say, support our community, and be a bigger voice for change.

But too many times, our words are not actions. Our voices are still seemingly silent, stuck behind closed doors, not standing up for and helping to actively drive forward the changes we hope for, that the people of color in our community and beyond have fought for over GENERATIONS.

It is time to speak louder. More often. Stand in allyship with victims of brutality, dehumanization, and repression because of their skin color, gender, sexuality, or belief system.

Today, we are here in support of the people of color in our community. To say his name, George Floyd, and all of the people he represents and stood for.

We are here to listen. To understand. And maybe most importantly after? Take action upon what we come to learn.

#blackouttuesday

8 weeks into shutdown, 9 years into business.

Today, we open back up.

No doubt, the 202 will look a bit different.

Sure, no high fives and getting within 6 feet, while rocking a mask may feel a bit off.

But, it’s still us. Here and ready to serve you and help you tackle your health and hotness, one week at a time.

See you soon friends .

📢Hey UTSFam! 📢

Today, we want to talk about 😷 mask safety! 😷

We have been in communication with our local health department for best practices about cleanliness and safety as we prepare to re-open on May 17!

💃*Happy dance!*🕺🏾

Some of you are wondering, "Do I really have to wear a mask while I workout??"

And the answer is: YES! We are REQUIRED by Knox County guidelines to wear masks at all times while in the facility.

Staff AND clients. No exceptions. We realize they aren't the most comfortable and may help that heart rate elevate a bit quicker, but remember, this is for the health and safety of OTHERS!

If you do not follow proper mask-wearing protocols, you will be kindly asked to leave.

Swipe left to see how coach @kaylarenglish, our very own @cff_tn ambassador shows us how it's done! Let us know if we can answer any questions!

We can't wait to see you and your beautifully-masked selves! @ Unlimited Training Systems

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

"We exist to serve as a stimulating influence to our members 𝗔𝗡𝗗 our community through 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 physical and mental evolution."

It is a weird and challenging time right now. Plenty of small business owners are getting hit hard, and many of us are fighting to find a way to ensure our businesses stay alive. But as our mission describes, evolution is necessary, as is continue to stay true to our vision and values of helping our members in any way we can, while serving as a positive influence in our community.

Unlimited Training Systems is hoping that we can do our part to 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗟𝗦𝗢 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘅𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮. While it is a challenging time for small businesses like ours, we are looking for your help to prove that our community is stronger when we work together and show love towards one another.

In the last two weeks, we have shifted our entire operation online. From Live Virtual Workouts and weekly coaching calls, to detailed written workout programs complete with all the instruction and support you could need. I am SO FORTUNATE to have a team in place that has stayed working non stop to make this a possibility. I am also grateful to have the support of some of the best fitness business owners across the country.

It has been a different kind of challenge getting this up and running, but a fun adventure at that, as we have already been able to test and utilize new services and approaches that we simply didn't have before. It has allowed us to connect with our members, and support them during a time in which one of their homes away from home is not accessible. But we are, and we are here to help.

Unlimited Training Systems

Let’s be real , six months ago I would have never seen this coming...an entire operation shifted online in a matter of weeks.
_
It’s been weird, it’s been a learning experience, and it hasn’t been without its hiccups.
_
But it’s also provided so much opportunity for connection, albeit in a different way.
_
We have had more virtual face to face coaching calls and chat time with our clients to troubleshoot life, roadblocks, nutritional goals, and action steps to achieve.
_
We have gotten clients trying yoga and meditation that never gave it a chance before.
_
We are bringing in awesome leaders in our industry to guide workshops, Q and A’s, and steps to moving forward.
_
Our team is stepping up and crushing every task thrown their way to make this transition possible.
_
I have had more awesome conversations and support from fellow gym owners in the @businessforunicorns than I thought possible.
_
And here soon, we get to stay true to our values and give back to our community and local businesses.
_
I miss being in my gym. I miss throwing high fives and being ridiculous to our fellow UTSFam. I miss lifting alongside our team.
_
But, we move forward, we adapt, and we keep making health A priority in our lives while doing what we can to flatten the curve and help out our community.
_
Thank you to all who have been taking part. @ Unlimited Training Systems
