The problem with moderation is, everyone has a different definition.

Instead of comparing your version of moderation to others, define boundaries that work for you early on. What’s really too much? What’s just right? What am I comfortable with? Stick to that. Do you. Forget them!

The quadratus lumborum — QL for short — is your deepest abdominal muscle. And get this, it’s in your lower back. It’s the thing that makes your back look like a Christmas tree.

The QL is one of the muscles responsible for good posture, and if you’ve been sitting a lot, there’s a good chance it’s struggling.

See if this helps: grab a foam roller, friend, or get creative, and massage it. If you immediately find relief, or just get taller, you’re on to something.

When my kids were younger I involved them with picking out fruits and vegetables at the store and then they were part of the meal preparation in the kitchen. I complimented them on their skills and the taste of the food they help prepare. I found they enjoyed it more when they were part of the process.There is a book, "Eat Healthy, Feel Great" by Dr. William Sears that help explain healthy food vs. junk food. It was written for children in a fun way so that they can see how food impacts their bodies.
