It's possible to fill your day with wins. (And you probably already do).⁠

How we move outside of the gym is an often under-valued factor in overall health, and an active lifestyle is not defined by how many hours you exercise. Don't get too caught up in how many steps you're taking or how many workouts you are logging. Success is defined as the accomplishment of purpose, and we too often attach it to numbers we can measure. When we don't meet the numbers, we think we've failed.⁠

The reality is that every day has opportunities for success.⁠

The City of Knoxville's guidelines for gyms have been updated: Starting Tuesday, May 26th, masks are no longer required as long as a 12 ft. distance is maintained between individuals. ⁠

What this means for South Landing:⁠

✅Masks will be optional to members while they are in their workout stations. We do require members to have a mask with them and accessible at all times. They still must be worn when a 12 ft. distance is not able to be maintained.⁠
✅We will be re-marking our workout stations to ensure a 12 ft. distance exists between members⁠

Our standard operating procedures for sanitizing and cleaning the gym are not changing. We are continuing to prioritize health and safety as we follow our city's guidelines. For a full run-down of our COVID-19 protocols, check out our updated blog (link below).

A Dopo has done an incredible job these past few months at completely changing their entire business model, while continuously keeping safety and health at the forefront. Today, A Dopo is re-starting their dine-in service on a reservation only basis. We have no doubt they will continue to set the bar high with their safety and health operations (and of course their food🍕). We're also very excited to know they intend on continuing their pickup option, which will hopefully resume next week. Their curbside Roman-style pizza is incredible, and re-heats perfectly!⁠

South Landing CrossFit

The owners of South Landing and all the employees are top notch. When you walk in you automatically feel welcomed. In my past experience going to a gym for the first time has been intimidating but that wasn't my experience with South Landing. They actually partnered with a non-profit called Survivor Fitness which works with individuals who are in remission from cancer. South Landing helped me get my confidence back after going into remission from cancer. I am a member there and I love it! They have also provided top notch services through the COVID-19 pandemic and care very much about the safety and well-being of their clients. Even before the pandemic as well. They meet you where you at physically and safety is a priority for them. I appreciated that so much because I had never done Cross Fit prior to coming to South Landing. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a new gym to call home.
This is just WOW very good place for cross fit and fitness with customized solutions. People are amazing and motivator for going hard in workout. Great Accessibility for disabled.
Great coaches, incredible community (community get togethers available almost every week), and challenging workouts.
Loving my experience at South Landing CrossFit! All of the coaches are extremely knowledgeable and approachable. They’ve created a wonderful community of wellness minded folks. I had never tried CrossFit boxes before and I’ve never once been intimidated or felt out of place in this gym. Truly one of my favorite things about living in South Knoxville!
This is the best workout experience I've ever had. The workouts target all the different muscle groups. The trainers are extremely knowledgable about fitness and proper form. I'm a cancer survivor and participate in the THRIVE group for over 50s. The workouts are modified so that I get the most benefit based on my fitness level. It's also FUN! Chrissy and Shane promote community and activities for members. Great atmosphere, fun workouts and great people. This is my choice for best workout experience in Knoxville!
