Since it is our Anniversary week, we’re sharing a #throwback pic to celebrate two of our founding members! Rachel Watson and Laura Roberts have been with us since our park workouts before our doors even opened. Here are just a few of their collective accomplishments over the past three years.

Traveled to 5 countries ✈️
Ran 2 half-marathons 🏃🏼‍♀️
Swam 3 5ks 🏊🏻‍♂️
Completed 3 triathlons 🏅
Got a promotion as well as a new job (one here at South Landing) 💼
Bought a house 🏠
Wrote and illustrated 3 books 📚
Hiked Machu Picchu 🇵🇪
Translated as a Remote Area Medical - RAM volunteer ❤️

This weekend we are celebrating 3️⃣ years of South Landing CrossFit with a Field Day for our members and will ONLY be open for our Open Gym hours (8-10 am). Normal hours will resume again next week!

If you’re hungry and only have one option, you’re going to end up choosing that option over nothing. If you have healthy snacks on hand you’ll be better prepared to say ‘no’ to unhealthy choices without saying ‘no’ to hunger. Here are 3 grab-and-go options we love!

1️⃣ Plain yogurt with frozen berries or nuts 🥜(or nut butter)
2️⃣ Precision Nutrition almond protein bars
3️⃣ Raw veggies 🥕 🥦 with hummus

This past Saturday our community raised $300 dollars for Survivor Fitness Foundation by participating in our Charity Bootcamp. And, in true South Landing style, we had a great workout and a lot of 🎉fun🎉 along the way. Thank you Survivor Fitness Fondation for supporting cancer survivors in our Knoxville community! You are true difference makers in the lives of many 💕.

South Landing CrossFit

This is a wonderful community of people. The staff are concerned first and foremost with safety and health. Yes, "CrossFit" is in the name. If that scares you, don't let it. (Trust me. I am a reformed coach potato.) This gym gets people of all shapes and sizes and walks of life engaging in healthy behaviors and hitting goals they didn't think were possible. Don't be scared. Be excited and come visit.
South Landing is an incredible place to help you grow on your journey to strength and healthy living. The coaches and atmosphere at South Landing will blow you away. All of the coaches are very knowledgeable and personable. They can modify any movement for injury or ability levels. The friendly staff and members motivate you to work hard and have a great time while doing it. The gym is like a family and everyone will support you 100% everyday. You won't regret a minute of your journey at South Landing!
Being a part of the South Landing community has brought me SO much life! Not only am I meeting health goals, but I am also making some awesome friends in the process! The staff here is incredible...super kind, encouraging, and just excellent at what they do! My hour at South Landing is truly a highlight of my day.
Phenomenal coaches with an even better culture of respect, humility, excellence, and community. Shane and Crissy have done a wonderful job building and maintaining a box that is inviting to everyone regardless of fitness level. Every time I open the door, I know I'm going to be greeted by name, and encouraged by my coaches to push my own limits in a way that benefits my safety and health for the long-term. Just a great place to workout and build friendships.
If you’re looking for a gym, this is the place to go! Incredible coaches and incredible people! They offer every option for your fitness needs-group classes, private trading, small group training, nutritional counseling, etc. SouthLanding CrossFit is a huge part of my life and I couldn’t recommend them more!
